THE ROLE:

In this role, you will collaborate with the Brands Controller and Sr. Director, Finance to streamline daily accounting operations for maximum efficiency. Your pivotal responsibilities will include offering essential financial support to Brand Leaders across diverse markets, driving effective management and optimizing the financial performance of our brands. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Accounting Operations:

  • Execute journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations for 3-4 assigned Brands during month-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage allocation of corporate costs across divisions, branches, and Brands, supporting Brand Leaders with accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and workers’ compensation entries with TPC Parent finance team, prepare flux explanations for Brand Controller review, and assist with financial audit requests.

• Team Supervision:

  • Supervise offshore accounting staff in India, providing guidance, feedback, and training for their professional development.
  • Assist in training offshore general accounting and accounts payable teams.

• Acquisition Integration Support:

  • Support financial integration of new partnerships by overseeing transition of banks, accounts payable, general accounting, and other processes.

You will collaborate with your dynamic team in person 3x per week at our corporate office. 

The expected California Pay Range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Offshore team experience preferred
• Multi-location experience advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree and/or CPA certification preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team, emphasizing accuracy and timeliness
• Strong work ethic and detail-oriented mindset
• Desire for continuous learning and growth in the industry
