Job Title: Physical Therapist - Rehab (13-Week Contract)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Shift Timing: Day 3 x 12
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our rehab team in San Antonio, TX, for a 13-week contract position. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing rehabilitative care to patients and helping them regain mobility and function.
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- PT state license/certification for Texas
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required, including booster. Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, mobility, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide patient and family education on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
