Title: Cyber Security SpecialistLocation: New York, NY 10004Duration: 12 months assignment
Job Duties:
- Conduct and coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and management
- Work with Stakeholders to improve Data Classification and Data loss prevention tasks
- Conduct and/or evaluate Governance and Risk compliance tasks
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
- Work with IT to improve security measures
Education/Experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 5 years' experience within Information Security/Cyber Security or related field.
Other knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Experienced with penetration testing and techniques is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
