As an Associate Claims Specialist- Cyber, you will play a critical role in AXA XL's claims for the Cyber & Technology team. You will be tasked with achieving the best possible outcomes for AXA XL and its clients by resolving and settling claims proactively.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
Identify notable claims for the month that you believe should be highlighted for underwriting to watch.
  • Independently manage a caseload of files, including obtaining coverage determinations from underlying carriers, analyzing the applicability of coverage to the facts of each claim under the terms of each AXA XL policy and establishing and maintaining close communications with underlying carriers and defense counsel.
  • Conduct training regarding claim handling processes and procedures.
  • Complete initial claim evaluation (damages, liability assessment and reserves) within first 30 days of task assignment from Claim Manager. Pursue further tasks as warranted/instructed.
  • Ongoing re-evaluations of file exposure as needed (update Claim Manager with notes/reports as exposure changes). Collaborate with Claim Manager on your resolution (disposition) plan for feedback and approval.
  • Negotiate resolution of claim based on parameters and authority levels pre-approved by Claim Manager.
  • Effectively communicate and present claim files and other relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) Required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized; ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Very collaborative and works well in a team environment.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $63,000 – $112,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
