2200 Neuberger Berman Services LLC is Hiring an Enterprise Data Management – Lead Technologist Near New York, NY

We are seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven Technology Leader with a track record of success in strategizing, executing, and overseeing Data Governance and Master Data Management software development initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Technology and Master Data Management (MDM) team, primarily working with the EDG and Enterprise Data Management stakeholders. The team, comprising of business analysts and developers, will be responsible for building governance, matching, workflow, integration, and automation solutions across the organization. This role will be critical in promoting quality, consistency, and auditable data that enables our clients to optimize their business operations, increase sales, reduce costs, and streamline processes. You will be entrusted with the technical management of the firm’s data catalog and data quality applications. Responsibilities: · Lead a team of developers and business analysts in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions. · Facilitate communication and gather requirements from stakeholders across various business and operating units. · Strategize and execute integration, matching, workflow, and automation strategies. · Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Governance team to formulate data quality rules. · Manage the technical operation of data catalogs, data lineage, and data glossary tools. · Enterprise data management experience in client, security, and legal entity data · Engage with stakeholders to identify potential system enhancements. · Develop and execute the team’s strategies and goals while contributing to the Enterprise Data Management team’s objective of Data-as-a-Service. · Prioritize tasks, develop, and implement a schedule to achieve targets. · Create a collaborative and success-oriented environment and motivate the team towards achieving objectives. · Ensure effective communication among developers, analysts, and stakeholders. · Evaluate and manage risks within the team and advocate for continuous improvement. Qualifications: · A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including leading and managing a team · Proven expertise in managing large scale software implementation projects using Agile methodologies. · Strong background in enterprise data management, encompassing client, security, issuer, and legal entity data. · Practical involvement in collaborating with Data Governance stakeholders. · Demonstrated success in technical architecture design and delivery of Master Data Management projects (experience with Markit EDM is a plus). · Exceptional communication skills with a comprehensive understanding of the financial services and asset management industry. · Ability to analyze business issues, perform in-depth business analysis, and write SQL. · Hands-on experience implementing or utilizing a Data Catalog or Data Quality tool (experience with Collibra and Datactics is a plus). · Data modeling and Tableau experience are an advantage. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently. Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $140,000-$190,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
