We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing and treating various dental conditions to ensure optimal oral health.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations and screenings
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics for dental procedures
- Conduct dental surgeries, including extractions, root canals, implants
- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to provide coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and equipment
- Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately
- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
- Strong anatomy knowledge related to the oral cavity and surrounding structures
