What Makes You A Good Fit?

1.5 to 15 years’ experience as a Mechanical/Plumbing Estimator

2.Experience with estimating software

3.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

4.Must be able to complete advanced mathematical functions

5.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

6.Strong verbal and written communication skills

7.Ability to work independently without constant supervision

8.Strong attention to detail

9.Strong time management skills

Responsibilities

·Analyze data to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates

·Consult with Owners and Subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

·Review proposals to find the most cost-efficient way to complete projects for bidding

·Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, construction superintendents, and engineers to discuss and formulate estimates

·Prepare proposals, finalize estimates for prospective projects

·Site visits as needed
