2 Sons Plumbing, Heating, & Air is rapidly growing and We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to work closely with our Senior Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. This position will also process full charge bookkeeping transactions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll and assist in the Human Resource Department.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and the ability for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will assist in providing accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we are compliant with all tax regulations.

Any experience in permits is a plus, but not a requirement.

Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with, and excellent knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables a Plus).
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Experience with Receivables and Payables including Reconciling
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BS in Accounting, Finance or 5 years’ Work experience as an Accountant
• Filing Experience / Experience switching to Paperless Office
