Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with any security-related concerns or inquiries
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in case of emergencies or incidents
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security-related fields are a plus
Note: Loss prevention experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory for this position.
