1KD THR Property Management LP is Hiring a Remote Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a member of the Analytics and Operations Planning team, responsible for analytical support of the Company's operations and strategic initiatives. Specifically, this role will work closely with the Sr. Director, Business Intelligence to further develop and enhance the company’s suite of analytic tools. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Create aesthetic, simple, and easily understood data visualizations in Tableau Partner with stakeholders from across the organization to extract insights from large and complicated datasets using Snowflake Gather requirements, understand desired outcomes, update release notes and suggest novel ways to further derive value from data Design and develop high quality visualizations that effectively track KPIs/metrics and analyze complex evolving business initiatives Continuously improving analysis and weaving in suggestions into BI systems and reports Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery/presentation of predictive models, metrics, reports and analyses Leverage the fundamentals of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to positively affect operations performance Approach analyses with a commitment to objectivity, pursuing causal inference above anecdotes and simple correlations Act a major contributor toward the Business Intelligence committee presenting new projects, BI topics and discoveries Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) a plus, but not required. Preferred fields of study include Data Science, Economics/Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, and Engineering 1-3 years of working experience in data analysis or data science, finance or asset management Skills/Specialized Knowledge Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Tableau desktop, think parameters, filter actions and more. Prefer 2 years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets Proficiency or interest in learning a scripting language (Python or R) Prefer experience with modern cloud platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query) Ability to manage to tight deadlines and self-manage workflow Be collaborative in a team setting, tools like Teams and Zoom to work either in person or remotely Strong verbal and written communication skills High degree of intellectual curiosity and discipline required Self-driven person who is motivated by complex problems that need solving Willing to learn about the operations of single-family REIT management to better understand and derive insights Ability to maintain confidentiality and foundational knowledge of handling PII data Other Requirements Must maintain professional appearance. Ability to work on a regular and consistent basis Physical and Mental Demands This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking.
