As a Barback at 1942 On The Square, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. Working closely with our bartenders and other team members, you will assist in maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This role requires someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, cleaning glassware, and disposing of trash.
• Restock bar supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice throughout the shift.
• Ensure that all equipment, including glassware and utensils, is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including alcohol service regulations and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and beverage service procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
