Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. This is a vital role in our restaurant, as you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and managing guest flow. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival - Escort guests to their tables and present menus - Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements - Answer phone calls and assist with reservations - Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station - Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient seating and service - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner - Assist with food service when needed Skills: - Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest service - Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Aloha POS - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of food service procedures and restaurant operations - Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed - Previous experience in guest services or restaurant industry is preferred Join our team and enjoy a positive work environment, competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within our organization.
