167 Hospitality Group is hiring a maitre d’/host for 167 RAW Oyster Bar and BAR167 Cocktail & Lounge

167’s maitre d’s are the first glance guests receive when they arrive at our restaurants and 167 Hospitality is looking for a person to match our style.

Previous experience as a host or maitre d’ is a plus. 167 works with RESY as a guest book and table assignment.

This position is part time with work availability requirements of Friday and Saturday.

Each shift is approximately 5 hour shifts from 11am – 4pm or 5pm – 10pm

Starting hourly compensation: $18

Job tasks

• Greet and welcome guests
• Communicate table availability or wait times to guests
• Work with maitre d’ and managers to coordinate table assignments
• Use RESY portal for seating, plotting, and communicating
• Assign tables and walk guests to their seats
• Answer questions on 167’s menu to guests
• Organize and plot for future seatings
• Communicate with team on guest requests, allergies, or preferences

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Knowledge of 167’s menu
• Critical thinking and organization to map tables, plot, and pivot during service
• Positive attitude

• Weekend availability
