We are looking for a skilled Senior Systems Administrator with expertise in Exchange administration, Active Directory/Entra ID administration, and with Windows Server administration within a virtualized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company's hybrid Exchange environment, including Exchange Online (Office 365) and on-premises Exchange 2019 servers.
• Manage and maintain Mimecast Email Security Platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange server performance, mailbox databases, and mail flow.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID environments, including user and group management, and GPOs.
• Build and maintain standardized Windows and Linux servers using industry best practices to ensure highly sustainable and reliable platforms.
• Coordinate and maintain patch management schedules.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server performance.
• Secondary roles include Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus software administration, as well as identify and remediate system vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration between Exchange, Active Directory/Entra ID and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and implement security measures to safeguard the Exchange and Active Directory environments.
• Provide product ownership level support to end-users regarding Exchange and email-related issues.
• Secondary roles include basic administration of virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware.
• Develop or identify technological solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to design and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Write technical documentation and procedure manuals.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred – or - 5 years of directly related work experience.
• 3 years of recent experience in Exchange administration and related email security systems.
• 3 years of recent experience in Active Directory and Entra ID administration.
• 3 years of recent experience in experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Linux server administration preferred.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Protection and enterprise antivirus administration.
• Awareness of and experience software development life cycle principles and concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as working effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and understand prioritization of deliverables.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
