Experience/Skill Requirements:
- 5 Years of part quality experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Experience in supervising a small group of associates.
- Experience as primary customer contact.
- Proven experience in root cause analysis and leading corrective action initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments used to verify part quality.
- Knowledge in metal stamping, welding, and assembly processes is beneficial, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Detailed oriented with strong self-initiative.
- Ability to interpret and explain part drawings.
- Discussing and resolving quality problems reported by the customer.
- Lead internal investigations to determine root cause and countermeasure for quality problems.
- Oversee receiving inspection process and verify satisfactory completion of requirements.
- Primary contact with customers on all new part development quality matters.
- Prepare monthly reports as required.
- Maintain (Supplier Quality Assurance Manual)
- Hands-on experience with quality measuring instruments
- 3 – 5 years manufacturing quality experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to interpret and explain part drawings.
