Lonestar Electric Supply is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in the field of electrical distribution. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Gear Specialist to provide technical expertise to internal partners and follow our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN for our vendors and customers. 

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date on all product capabilities, features, and benefits as well as market conditions, product warranties and services.
• Assist customers with orders, quotes, and product questions, resolving any concerns or issues as efficiently as possible.
• Partner with sales and internal partners to answer technical questions on electrical components, discuss their capabilities and help determine the best products for projects. 
• Proactively follow up on customer orders, challenges, and needs.
• Qualify opportunities, based on market conditions and technical scope.
• Accurately enter orders and type quotations ensuring expedition of order process.
• Maintain project files and potentially manage a limited number of customer accounts. 
• Other responsibilities as they arise or assigned by management. 

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience quoting complex switchgear packages for an electrical distributor, switchgear manufacturer, or panel shop.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and technical understanding.
• Strong customer service, both internal and external.
• Must be extremely well organized with a strong attention to detail. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Epicor Eclipse a plus.
