JOB SUMMARY: The Trade Marketing Manager leads activation for key national, regional, and local partnerships and programs within MO and IA and reports to the Sr. Commercial Director for MO and IA. The overall purpose of this position is to maximize brand programs across on and off premise to deliver volume and share growth for A-B brands. This position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external distributors to ensure execution of locally-relevant programming, manages sales events budget, event recaps, and measures ROI for local programs and events. JOB DESCRIPTION: Partners with Commercial and Retail teams to develop chain-specific marketing and promotional plans; build, implement, and manage the brand programming within the on and off-premise channels to deliver volume and share growth Manage the ROI for channel programs and sports partnerships Communicate program results recaps and priorities on a weekly and monthly basis with necessary stakeholders Direct channel specific pilots and manage optimization of each channel's key levers Manage budget for state events, partnerships, and channel plans Cascade annual and trimester channel blueprint (initiatives and programs) Key Performance Indictors (KPI's) include Channel volume, Share, Program Execution, and Distribution quotas Cascade events and partnership activation plans for on and off-premise venues Develop, maintain, and grow key relationships and partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders Develop effective processes for communicating trade programs and improving execution Facilitate POC Planning process with field and wholesaler teams Utilizes data to analyze A-B performance in key accounts and identify opportunities for growth Lead and manage MANCOM visits and events in STL as well as involvement in planning AB company meetings within the MCA JOB QUALIFICAITONS: Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, top level account decision makers, and all internal stakeholders High level of company products and beer industry knowledge Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and third-party partners Highly self-motivated and results oriented with ability to work independently Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and comfortable with presenting to groups Strong organizational & planning skills Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Effective time management in planning daily routines, wholesaler visits, and event activations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA Preferred 5-7 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in the beverage or consumer products industry Thorough knowledge of AB sales and marketing strategies and procedures Ability to work hours as required (nights, weekends, etc.) Must possess a valid driver’s license WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
