HOURLY: $22.50/Hr SHIFT: Must be available to work all shifts on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, for 5-7 days per week. Shifts are as follows: Midnights – 11PM to 7AM Days – 7AM to 3PM Afternoons – 3PM to 11PM Midnight is a straight shift. ROLE SUMMARY: We are currently hiring for multiple positions as we prepare for our busy production season ahead (May 1st-September 30th). Paid Training! Training will begin in early April. Required to attend orientation (Monday to Friday - 7:00am-3:00pm). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples including: ph, billings, alcohol, sodium, and iron. Run routine analyses of packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, etc. Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization. Conduct inspection and analysis of package integrity and specifications. Coordinate quality analyses ensuring accurate results, timely completion, and proper responses and notification. Perform various studies, statistical analysis, participate in PDCA teams to improve quality throughout the brewery. Other routine laboratory testing, as needed. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a science-intensive discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or working towards a degree in one of these fields. Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform basic instrument maintenance. Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques. Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Solid interpersonal skills for working in a team orientation. Must be flexible to work varying shifts during the week. Weekends and holidays may be required. Skilled in Minitab, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
