About the Role The Treasury Financing Modernization Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Test Integration Analyst. The Federal Reserve plays a major role in operating the nation’s debt financing system. This position will be working closely with project stakeholders, cross-functional agile teams and business/UAT teams to ensure test scope meets requirements for internal and external interfaces for a modernized debt financing system within a Cloud environment. This role is responsible for the analysis, design, development, and execution of test scenarios, identify any test data needs and work with the appropriate resources to ensure proper setup of test environments, reporting and analyzing any defects or issues. Role and Responsibilities Provide input to testing strategy and testing scope Develops relationships with other business areas to gain a strong understanding of project scope Analysis of requirements and design specifications for planning and preparing appropriate scripts for integration testing Develops, reviews, and executes test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure application internal and external interfaces and services meet business needs, quality standards, and end user/non-functional requirements (i.e., environments and user interfaces) Proficient in testing processes and tools to execute test cases and scripts, analyze test results, report on testing progress, defect resolution and document final test results (i.e. – JIRA and X-Ray plugin for JIRA) Ability to manage defects throughout the lifecycle of the project and assist with root cause analysis Follow best practices of testing and encourage continuous improvement and innovation. Analyze and troubleshoot test script implementation issues. Understand operating environment, business and applications. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Engage in technical interchange meetings between test teams, software engineers and architects Perform peer review for team members Estimating size and scope of specific tests Effectively prioritize and schedule own work Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external customers Qualifications Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant testing experience Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science/technology, business administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), technical integration technologies such as API, XML and JSON concepts, content delivery networks, CI/CD pipeline, as well as other web and database technology Knowledge of different levels and types of testing and troubleshooting activities that will be perform by agile team(s) Knowledge of product development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. Ability to understand technical aspects of the application under development Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
