Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Location: Berwyn, IL 60402

Job Type: Contract to Permanent

Job Duties:

• Provides assessment, treatment and patient care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab with knowledge of patient growth and development and is appropriate to the ages of the patient served assists with patient and family education.
• Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory.
• Primary job function is in the Cath Lab, but will cross train to other areas of Cardiovascular Services.
• Promotes involvement of self and staff in health promotion/educational community activities.
• The technologist will be able to perform scrub duties for invasive cardiac, peripheral, and electrophysiology procedures.
• They will be able to input data related to ACC registry accurately.
• The duties include monitoring the hemodynamic measurements of all procedures.
• Positions the patient, selects radiation exposure parameters, and images the patient.
• Scrub and assist the physician with invasive procedures, prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal and hospital regulations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2-year experience Required.
• Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Certification/License – Required
• ARRT, CCI, or other Cardiac certification accepted.
• BLS Required
• Covid Vaccine

Schedule:

• 8 Hours/Day
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 40 Hours guaranteed in a week
