This platform is one of the core systems in the Norton system. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will develop and execute test plans and automate test cases for new features or add automation to expand the existing automation suite coverage. You will be working in a fast-paced, results-driven, collaborative environment using Agile methodologies. Responsibilities: Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality Writes robust automated tests for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers. Setup and maintain a continuous integration environment to ensure the highest product quality. Develop and execute test plans and test cases Maintain and enhance the automation framework Plan test projects and participate in the design and functional specification reviews Design, build, deploy, monitor, and manage test beds Test tools and services that are used by other product teams to implement and deploy their products Interact with the development teams to come up with test designs that satisfy their requirements Ability to work early or late hours as required to support the offshore team Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance engineering 5 years of hands-on automation experience using Java 5 years experience in web application automation using Selenium In-depth understanding of REST services & strong experience testing/automating REST & Soap APIs Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases Experience defining and designing an automation plan for a high-availability web platform Experienced with CICD concepts and strong experience (6 years) in integrating tests on the Jenkins pipeline Worked in a fast-paced, dynamic and highly collaborative global environment Passionate about automating all things and understand the importance of being a customer advocate Strong problem-solving skills and good understanding of the best practices and importance of Test Automation processes Has experience working on Agile, Scrum and DevOps teams Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills B.S.
