Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Space Planning Senior Manager to get going quickly with an outstanding team to support you. In addition to working within the Workplace Services Team to solve for space allocation issues for the entire Americas and LATAM regions, you’ll also work with Global Space Strategy to ensure alignment to the Global Space Program. Your experience in space planning, workplace services, and real estate, will be pivotal to deliver on programs that enable our Workplace optimization and effectiveness. Your Impact: Perform space planning operations function in coordination with key Real Estate partners for projects & initiatives, as well as provide overall ownership for client space and allocation needs. Lead a team of Space Planning professionals across the Americas. Partner with the Global Space Strategy to contribute to the global strategy development for space programming, data inputs, workplace analysis and pilots, ensuring global alignment on process and data integrity. Liaise with Real Estate Business Partners to ensure their business allocation, adjacency and programming needs are met, while validating business requirements against data trends. Define and document strategy to meet the spatial and occupancy needs of multiple business units while managing a portfolio with limited contingency. Perform spatial analyses to develop scenarios on the most strategic use of space by creating stacking/blocking diagrams. Produce detailed space planning reports for real estate leadership team that document existing conditions, deliver insights and forecast challenges around space supply and demand; consolidating data from multiple streams - badge, CAFM, occupancy sensor and observational studies, when applicable. Develop conceptual space layouts for test fits and reconfigurations, in accordance with ADA and Salesforce Design standards. Develop and contribute to the documentation of space programming needs that bring together site specific spatial requirements, business input and feasibility studies. Oversee regional physical and occupancy audits to ensure data integrity and physical space documentation, which includes drawing updates in CAD as needed. Other duties may be assigned Basic Requirements: 7 years professional experience in space programming, space planning and project management Excellent leadership and supervisory skills; ability to guide, lead, develop and motivate staff Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel/Google Sheets, and CAFM systems Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes Ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.). Preferred Requirements: Excellent interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, team based, timeline driven environment Ability to effectively handle sophisticated tasks and prioritize multiple projects and competing priorities Ability to develop business cases and service requirements while creating and managing strategic alliances.
