Sales Associate

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Customer Service

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the customer service initiative through the ASSIST program.
• Responsible to solve customer problems.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Create and maintain compelling merchandise presentations per the company guidelines
• Ensure merchandise pricing is complete and accurate.
• Read, comprehend and complete markdowns.
• Assist in conducting audits of assigned areas as needed.
• Accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Responsible for promoting a safe and secure environment in the store.
• Accountable for protecting the company's assets by understanding and following inventory and management controls.
• Expedite front lines, direct flow of customers, and ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service.
• Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked.
• Monitor the fitting rooms if that is appropriate with your store.
• Read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, but required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks and quickly learning new procedures.
