Quality Management Director Job Description The Quality Management Director is responsible for the staffing, operations, planning and development of the patient experience, clinical quality improvement, infection prevention and employee health functions of the Quality Management Department. Facilitates the coordination and communication of quality improvement activities throughout the organization, including participation in Board & Medical Staff quality committees. Provides support and collaboration with department directors and managers on quality improvement initiatives. Department: Quality Management Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Requirements: RN, BSN Pay based on applicable experience; starting salary $99,112.00. Responsibilities Accountable for managing day-to-day operations of the patient experience, clinical quality improvement, infection prevention and employee health functions of the Quality Management Department., Accountable for managing day-to-day operations of the patient experience, clinical quality improvement, infection prevention and employee health functions of the Quality Management Department., Actively participates in ongoing continuing education opportunities to remain current in healthcare issues, quality programs and department specific trends., Analyzes and identifies adverse trends in patient safety and quality., Analyzes performance on key quality metrics and outcomes to project organizational performance in publicly reported programs., Collaborates with Information Systems to coordinate software application needs and ensure reliability and validity of organizational data., Collaborates with Post-Acute Care leadership to ensure compliance with Home Health and Hospice Quality reporting programs., Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery., Leader-Coach: Leads by example. Promotes and utilizes Quality Improvement principles and methods to achieve continuously improving departmental services and systems.
