Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Job Description 1. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred, preferably in Health Information Management. 2. Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital Health Information Management department or large outpatient clinic operation with release of information experience preferred. 3. Certification/Licensure/Registration: RHIT preferred 4. Must have a professional demeanor and possess excellent, verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills. 5. Ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to appropriately prioritize tasks. 6. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
