10 BCFS Health and Human Services is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Orleans, LA

Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the State of Louisiana or State of Texas. Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program/institution, including coursework in statistical analysis. Preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/institution in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology or related field of study, or Advanced degree in statistical analysis and/or 3 years of experience in analytics. Experience: Experience and/or training in child or family services. Understanding of human trafficking field an asset. Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables: 1. Continuously develop the program database and reporting mechanisms 2. Submit timely and accurate programmatic reports as assigned 3. Liaise between leadership, direct service staff, and information/technology to coordinate continuous quality improvement in data collection methods 4. Meets all deadlines required by program supervisor and state and federal partners 5. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position 6. Identify trends and training needs and develop trainings with program leadership 7. Meet regularly with program staff at all levels to understand the impact and goals of data entry and analysis for all roles in the program 8. Develop data collection plans with program leadership to target programmatic goals 9. Identify key trends in the field, service gaps, and successes, and communicate findings to an array of audiences 10. Draft weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc analytic reports for the program 11. Effectively analyze data and articulate implications for program, agency, and federal programming 12. Develop and maintain mechanisms to monitor program performance and assess the effectiveness of program interventions 13. Provide direct, objective feedback for program leadership to evaluate individual staff performance and training needs 14. Effectively use a variety of software and service platforms, including but not limited to call center technology platforms, SPSS, ETO, and SharePoint 15. Ensure communication up and down the chain is immediate, including all safety concerns and required reporting 16. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training and team decisions 17. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor 18. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS HHS employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times. Requirements: 1. Pass a pre-employment screen and random drug screens throughout employment 2. Participate in all required program trainings 3. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request 4. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks 5. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics. b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English. c. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. d. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently. e. Maintain computer literacy required for the position. f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team 7. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Human Trafficking Interdiction policies and procedures.
