1 to 1 Tutoring is the largest and fastest-growing tutoring company in Arizona. We offer tutoring before, during, and after school. We have active contracts with ADE, Districts, Charter Schools, and Private Schools throughout the Metro-Phoenix area to provide school-based intervention services.
**We need ELA, Social Studies, and History tutors for full-day tutoring at each Phoenix Union High School location. Jobs start immediately and will continue through summer and the next school year.
The Job:
- School: Carl Hayden High School
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 8:00 am-3:00 pm (Friday is optional day)
- You will tutor grades 9-12
- Need Tutors in the following subjects: ELA, History, and Social Studies

Job Duties:
- Instruct in small groups.
- Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by 1 to 1 Tutoring.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
- Establish academic goals and milestones with students
Qualifications:
- Teacher Certification (Preferred)
- Degree (Required)
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields (Required)
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
