The Sweet Tea Media newspaper group is seeking an Editor for the Seward County Newspaper Group including the Seward County Independent and The Milford Times newspapers. This position is responsible for coordinating local content for print, reporting, on-line, and visual elements. Ideal candidates will have a journalism degree with experience in the newspaper industry, are familiar with Mac computers, is a capable photographer and page design (Adobe products is a must) and have experience with managing people. In addition to the weekly responsibilities of putting out high-quality newspapers, the editor will work with staff members to continually improve existing products, services, procedures, etc.

Sweet Tea Media owns five newspapers in Nebraska , the Seward County Independent, The Crete News, The Milford Times, The Friend Sentinel and The Wilber Republican and two paper in Kansas the Concordia Blade-Empire and the Beloit Call.
