IDEAL CANDIDATE

We value motivation, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to professional development. A minimum of two years’ experience and a coronal polishing certificate are required. We also welcome applications from Dental Assistant I candidates who are keen to advance their skills through our supportive mentorship and training programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide chair-side assistance during dental treatments.

· Manage procedural documentation.

· Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.

· Perform dental charting and assist in treatment planning.

· Discuss treatment plans and manage payments with patients.

· Take dental X-rays and perform coronal polishing.

· Ensure stringent moisture control and isolation during procedures.

· Take dental impressions and fabricate temporary crowns.

· Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

· Uphold aseptic protocols to prevent cross-contamination.

· Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

· Monitor patient vitals during procedures.

· Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend or similar software is advantageous.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong foundational knowledge in dental assisting.

· Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both patients and team members.

COMPENSATION

· Full-time role with a salary range of $18.00 to $24.00 per hour.

SCHEDULE

· Monday to Wednesday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Additional days will be scheduled as the practice grows.

WORK LOCATION

· In-person at our modern facility in Concord, NC.
