Description

Job Title: Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Location: AustinĀ 

We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the revenue cycle process from start to finish, including charge capture, coding, billing, and collections

- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies and government payers

- Review and analyze denials and appeals to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement

- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate and complete documentation

- Stay up-to-date on changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management

- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing and collections

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
