Muse Bistro is Hiring a Line Cook Near Keene, NH

Muse Bistro is a fast-paced, full-service restaurant that serves lunch and dinner 6 days a week, located on Main St right in downtown Keene. We are a scratch kitchen that serves New American cuisine with a twist. We are hiring 1-2 line cooks to fill both daytime and night time positions. Qualified candidates interested in working 8am-4pm and/or 3pm-10pm are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

-Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

-Preparing food, adhering to recipes while maintaining restaurant standards

-Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

-Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

-Light Prep before and/or after service.

-Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

-Must work well under pressure, and be able to communicate effectively to co-workers, management, FOH, etc.

-Physical requirements include being able to lift up to 40lbs., is fairly active, must be able to bend, squat, reach, push/pull carts or dollys, repetitive motions...all the usual cooking activities and motions :)

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
