Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively
- Coordinate guest requests, such as room service or transportation arrangements
- Assist with night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and financial transactions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in using phone systems, computer software, and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset
