Hoskinson Biotechnology, Inc. is Hiring a Warehouse/Purchasing Specialist Near Gillette, WY

Job Summary:Hoskinson Contracting LLC is looking for a who will work as a team to provide inventory management for our growing construction team. This position will be essential to ensure our team has the needed materials in a timely manner to complete projects on time.
The Warehouse/Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for Managing inventory levels, conducts regular audits, tracks stock movements, and implements procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency. They will also be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate inventory data, order information, and other warehouse records using computerized systems or databases.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing goods. Implement and oversee inventory control procedures.
  • Regularly reconcile physical inventory with records to identify and address discrepancies. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Enter data into inventory management systems accurately and in a timely manner. Utilize technology to track and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights into stock levels, turnover, and other relevant metrics. Communicate findings to management and recommend improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize inventory processes. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in the supply chain.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to manage inventory levels effectively. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, and any issues affecting inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Take corrective actions to address any compliance issues.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address inventory-related challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and prevent errors in inventory records.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and maintain areas of the warehouse.
  • Must be able to life and carry up to 35lbs
Compensation:
  • Hourly Compensation: We are offering a highly competitive, negotiated hourly rate based on experience.
