Job Description: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Salary:

$18 - $25 per Hour | 32 Hours per Week

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at VBB, LLC as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where precision meets pace. In this role, you will ensure the smooth handling of both incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accuracy and efficiency. This position requires someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and has meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incoming Shipments: Receive and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices; inspect and document conditions; update inventory system. Prepare incoming products for photography.
• Outgoing Shipments: Prepare, pack securely, and document; coordinate with carriers for timely delivery.
• Inventory Management: Organize and maintain a tidy storage area; manage stock levels and perform cycle counts.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal team and external partners to solve shipping or inventory issues.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and shipping regulations; contribute to a culture of safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Training provided, but previous experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, strong organizational and time management abilities; proficient in computer use and data entry. Experience with Excel, inventory systems, and shipping software is a plus.
• Physical: Ability to lift 35-50 pounds; maintain standing, bending, and repetitive actions.
• Character: Must be bondable, have a clean background check, and capable of working independently.
