What You'll Do:

As a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement, our care centers will rely on your expertise regarding the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM), ensuring compliance and optimizing revenue reimbursement for the delivery of high-quality care. Your work will have significant impacts on the quality of life for our guests both present and future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the capturing of clinical reimbursement for services while ensuring highest level of revenue integrity
  • Provide timely guidance and support of the facility clinical reimbursement and MDS team
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather relevant clinical data
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation for reimbursement purposes
  • Stay updated on changes in reimbursement regulations and implement necessary adjustments
  • Perform consistent, focused data mining throughout assigned region
  • Trend and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization in reimbursement processes
  • Participate in the hiring, orientation and continuing education of MDS coordinators and other IDT members
  • Provide ongoing education and communication to the Administrators, MDS and other clinical staff

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement include:

  • Proven expertise in PDPM, ICD-10 coding and Quality Measures
  • Registered nurse with 3 years reimbursement or similar experience in the LTC industry
  • Ability to travel >50%, covering multiple facilities in CT, with opportunity to work remotely as well
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple facilities concurrently
  • Experience with current EMR software a preferred; general PC software proficiency required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal and presentation skills to collaborate and influence across departments
  • Deadline driven, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities
  • Familiar with state and federal regulations governing the MDS and billing processes within a nursing facility
  • Interest in the needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
