Position: Engineering Manager
Location: Holiday Inn Express Tempe Hotel
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled maintenance staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to address their engineering needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Proven track record in managing maintenance budgets effectively.
