Robbins Recruiting is Hiring a Sales and Operations Director Near Miami, FL

Robbins Recruiting Solutions has partnered with a Miami-based luxury design company that is growing quickly, and known for its quality products and impeccable customer service.
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Sales and Operations Director for the Company's expanding Home Appliance Division. The Sales and Operations Director will plan and oversee the daily operations of a dynamic team of professionals, facilitating communication and synergy within the company. The individual in this role will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues involving order implementation, operational compliance, sales and inventory forecasting.
Job Duties
    • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, and mentor employees.
    • Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions.
    • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
    • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions and create sales plan.
    • Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
    • Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all sales operations employees.
    • Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace.
    • Establish contracts and pricing; ensuring proper maintenance and serve as primary liaison to utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.
    • Manage relationships with key operations vendors and clients.
    • Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
    • Work closely with Holding CEO and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
    • Travel to vendors, customers, and events as needed.
Qualifications
    • Must have 8-10 years of relevant leadership experience
    • Strong knowledge of home appliances industry mandatory
    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Proven track record of leading teams of 10 employees
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to travel 20%-25%
    • Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
Compensation includes a base salary and commission structure
