Responsibilities:

• Help Curate an exceptional wine list that complements the restaurant's culinary offerings and elevates the overall dining experience.
• Provide expert guidance to guests on wine pairings, enhancing their dining experience.
• Conduct wine tastings and train staff on wine knowledge to ensure a high level of service.
• Manage the wine cellar, including inventory control, ordering, and rotation of stock.
• Collaborate with the chef to create wine pairings for special events and tasting menus.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new releases, and emerging vineyards to continually enhance the wine program.
• Uphold impeccable service standards and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• Certified Sommelier or higher qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of wines, regions, and vintages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
