Mehr Tucker DDS is Hiring a Part Time Front Desk Receptionist Near Rockville, MD

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or person
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries or concerns

- Send insurance claim, enter EOBs from insurance in patients chart

- produce daily report and day sheets

-communicate with patients Vis email

Experience:

- MUST have DENTAL receptionist experience.

_ Dentrix software or similar software experience is needed.
- Previous experience working as a receptionist in a dental or medical office preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks, Epic) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
