Server

Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on their needs throughout their dining experience
- Process payments and provide accurate change using the POS system (ToastPOS)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization dining area, and server stations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow

-Removing items from table customer no longer needs (pre-bussing)

-Maintaining dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude

-Adhering to sanitation standards to keep their guests safe

-Keep serving stations stocked with ice, soda, etc., as well as keeping their section clean and prepared for new guests.

-Be willing to work flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and grace
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $2.83 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
