Job summary:
Handle the clerical responsibilities associated with shipping products. With a focus on the timely, accurate fulfillment of orders, promote positive customer relations and ensure resources are being shipped effectively.
Description:
- Perform clerical tasks in coordination with outgoing and incoming loads for the Goodyear plant.
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing trailers in the computer system.
- keeping electronic and/or paper files accurate and up-to-date.
- Inspect each trailer that comes to look for any damage and ensure cleanliness of the empty trailers.
- Logistics clerks may be called upon to examine orders arriving at their own company.
