SCHEDULE: On-call; Approximately 12 hours per week; As needed
The Maintenance Technician I (Grounds) is primarily responsible for exterior maintenance of the medical center's building and grounds. Maintains appearance of medical center/facility grounds, to include exterior signage and parking lots. Waters and mows lawns, rakes leaves, trims shrubs and foliage, plants and fertilizes and cultivates annuals and perennials. Shovels and removes snow from talks and parking lots, and sands icy spots. Also primarily responsible for the medical center's grounds keeping equipment maintenance program. The Maintenance Tech I (Grounds) secondary responsibility is to assist other facilities staff members in performing duties involved in maintaining equipment, machinery, and physical structure of the medical center in good repair and working order. This includes periodic cleaning of medical center's property and disposal of trash and waste materials.
