Job Description:

The commercial/industrial (C/I) Project Specialist will work within the business development team. The C/I Project Specialist will work with HDJ business development and C/I leadership to build out a development and marketing program specific to commercial retail, emphasizing regional and national grocers. The C/I Project Specialist will do so by developing relationships and partnerships with C/I and grocery owners, builders, and other project partners; creating proposals and letters of intent; supporting projects once in design; participating in industry organizations; assisting HDJ’s architectural and engineering production teams as needed; working with the marketing team to create market specific content; collaborating with leadership on development and sales strategy; and becoming a market expert.

With both internal and external clients, an HDJ Project Specialist is uniquely integral to all three HDJ pillars as described above. The Project Specialist must carry them forward while also forging progress on all three.
