Description

At Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing, we are committed to Improving Lives™. As an Energy Advisor, you will help us live out our Vision & Mission and meet our growth-oriented goals as the premier heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing service provider in Northwest Washington.

At Barron, our Energy Advisor will:

  • Actively listen and solve customer’s comfort, health, and energy efficiency challenges through on-site investigation and testing
  • Educate customers on the considerations and benefits of Barron’s Air Solution services
  • Proficiently and safely use all required tools (static, blower doors, duct blaster, etc.)
  • Consistently maintain a ‘customer-first’ perspective
  • Establish a good working relationship with all team members
  • Support HVAC Superintendent with Building Performance jobs as needed
  • Meet/exceed proficiency standards of all aspects of Building Performance services, as they relate to your training and role within the Department
  • Support Barron scheduling, installation, and quality control best practices
  • View all sales opportunities through the ‘beyond the box’ perspective, offering system enhancements that improve the comfort, health, and energy efficiency of the home
  • Be prepared to offer and execute innovative solutions to homeowner challenges
  • Willing and able to climb on roof top structures or into attic/crawl spaces
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of all required job elements and documents
  • Follow inventory management process and procedures, maintaining equipment as needed
  • Understand standard duct design and airflow requirements
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to understand job performance and continually seek improvement
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings
  • Ensure consistent representation of the Barron brand in appearance while on job sites
  • Keep work vehicle clean and organized at all times
  • Arrive punctually for every scheduled sales call 
  • Obtain and maintain all required licenses or certifications as required by the company
  • Exhibit a “Team Barron” attitude
  • Share Barron’s mission of Improving Lives™

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Sales or Industry Background is preferred but not required 
  • Physical ability to crawl, climb, lift, and maneuver heavy objects, work at heights and in small spaces
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record 
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screening 
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age 
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States 

Compensation:

  • Full-Time
  • Base Commission
  • Base Salary: $36,000-42,000 annually; DOE
  • 4% commission
