Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial records and transactions. This is a key role that requires strong knowledge of tax regulations, double-entry bookkeeping, and proficiency in accounting software such as Sage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Recording all financial transactions using double-entry bookkeeping
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Generating financial reports for management review
- Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Assist with year-end financial audits and tax preparations
- Collaborate with external accountants for tax filings and reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies - Quickbooks
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage or similar platforms
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to analyze numerical data accurately
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Proficient in using 10-key typing for data entry purposes
