7OH2 Hospitality is seeking professional & skilled, Line Cooks to join our dynamic hospitality group. As a dedicated team, we are eager to find an individual who is enthusiastic about being part of the initial stages of an exciting group that is truly passionate about creating something special.
Compensation: $17 - $19 – based on experience
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1 year in a high-volume, full-service environment. High-volume corporate operation preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- ServSafe Certified.
- Self-Starter
- Ensure that stations are set up, stocked, cleaned.
- Prepare multiple components of each dish on the menu.
- Portion control and follow recipes.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, professional, team-centric setting is a must. You should be versatile and skilled in various aspects of the culinary field.
- Competent in the State of Michigan & Detroit City Health Department Standards. Must be able to always maintain a compliant score, No Exceptions.
- Ability to remain professional and composed during peak hours and high-pressure situations.
- Must possess EXTREMELY high standards.
- Observes and adheres to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, especially during pre-opening and opening stages of the establishment.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Takes ownership of all work performed and communicated.
- Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
ORAL /WRITTEN COMMUNICATION:
- Practices attentive and active listening with staff.
- Listens without interruption and gets clarification.
- Actively participates in meetings, contributing ideas to improve the company.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
