Job Summary

Elements Connect is looking for a Technical Product Owner/Manager to design and oversee product roadmaps and collaborate with different teams to craft the design aspects of a product that meets the needs of our clients. This person will make decisions based on business needs, but also will require technical knowledge to make the right decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Product Backlog: Create and maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog, including user stories, features, and technical tasks.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, complete, and testable.
  • Product Design and Useability: Collaborate with end-users and Design team to come up with solutions that are effective, simple to use, and fit for targeted end-users.
  • User Story Definition: Write detailed user stories, including acceptance criteria, to convey product features and functionality.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize items in the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Release Planning: Work with the development team to plan and schedule releases, considering dependencies and resource availability.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as the point of contact for the development team, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and providing guidance throughout the development process.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure that the product meets quality standards.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and incorporate customer feedback to continually improve the product and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.

Requirements

  • 2 years of Technical Product/Project Management experience.
  • Experience with SaaS, omni-channel products, process improvement and reengineering is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid technical background and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Figma).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value to end-users.
  • Experience with Staffing or ERP systems are a plus.
