Sor Ynez is an exciting new concept within the NextFab compound at American & Berks. We are excited to offer many vegan and carnivorous options, an expanding beverage program full of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, brunch and happy hour.

Sor Ynez is currently looking for a qualified server.

We have a large FREE parking lot! (Hard to come by in Philly!)

Shifts currently include dinner and brunch.

Both fine dining and neighborhood restaurant experience is preferred, as we embrace both. Willingness to learn and memorize details of seasonal menus is required for success in this role. The ideal candidate is community and team oriented, with a passion for high-quality dining experiences.

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times
• Maintains clean and organized work stations that are cohesive with the restaurant’s philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence.
• Recognize or seek areas for staff and restaurant improvement and offer positive solutions for change.
• Operate within the restaurant on a daily basis with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative.
• Understand completely all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
• Understand philosophy of management and owner. Displays consistent attention to detail and follow through of all restaurant policies.
• Represents the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with the all business partners.

• Accurate cash handling and POS operations
• Menu memorization
• Safe food handling
• Food and beverage pairing
• Professional composure
• Agave spirits knowledge is a plus!
• Toast POS experience is a plus!
