Job Description:
The role of a Supply Chain Director is critical in managing the flow of products, information, and finances from suppliers. As a key member of the Operations Leadership team, the Supply Chain Director develops and implements strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, minimize costs, and improve business continuity. This multifaceted role encompasses overseeing procurement processes and supporting inventory management systems to ensure a seamless integration and alignment of these functions to support Grön’s overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Supplier Relationships: The Supply Chain Director oversees relationships with suppliers. This involves negotiating contracts, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication.
• Productivity Initiatives: They drive initiatives to enhance productivity within the supply chain. This could involve process improvements, automation, or streamlining operations.
• Supplier Quality Engineering: Ensuring that suppliers meet quality standards is crucial. The Supply Chain Director collaborates with quality teams to monitor and improve supplier quality.
• Process Tracking Systems: Implementing systems to track supply chain processes is essential. This helps monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and make data-driven decisions.
• Global Sourcing: Managing sourcing activities across different regions and countries. This includes evaluating suppliers, assessing risks, and optimizing
• Supplier Partnerships: Building strong partnerships with suppliers to foster collaboration, innovation, and mutual success.
• Distribution and Manufacturing Oversight: The Supply Chain Director supervises Grön warehouses and works with manufacturing facilities to ensure efficient operations.
• Direct Supervision: The Supply Chain Director is responsible for fostering the growth of supply chain personnel. They must possess strong managerial acumen to effectively lead and develop the Purchasing Manager and team.

Requirements:

• 5 years of managerial experience in a supply chain environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar
• Excellent analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and proficiency in data analytics
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation:
This position starts at $95,000
