Creative Manager
NewPublica is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Creative Manager with a passion for crafting and executing visionary creative strategies. NewPublica is a full-service Public Relations and strategic communications firm uniquely poised for a rapidly changing world.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in spearheading creative initiatives that resonate across diverse audiences from the private sector to government entities. Reporting directly to two Vice Presidents who manage Public Affairs and Public Relations, you will harness your expertise in graphic design, digital platforms, video production, and web design to elevate client’s brands and missions. You will collaborate closely with both divisions to comprehensively address the full spectrum of our clients' creative needs, ensuring a seamless journey from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team of creatives across graphic design, digital media, video production, and web design.
  • Drive innovation and creativity, ensuring projects are delivered with high-quality and impactful visuals and narratives.

Advanced Graphic Design Proficiency:

  • Possess a robust portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design across a variety of media and formats. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute visually compelling and strategically aligned creative assets that elevate brand identity and messaging.

Expertise in Filming and Video Editing:

  • Command over the latest filming techniques, equipment, and video editing software to produce high-quality, engaging video content. Experience in storytelling through video, from pre-production planning to post-production editing, ensuring content aligns with client objectives and audience engagement goals.

Comprehensive Web Design and Development Insight:

  • Strong foundation in web design principles, coupled with a thorough understanding of the web development process. Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to guide the creation of intuitive, impactful websites for coalitions, campaigns, and diverse clients, ensuring a seamless user experience and alignment with strategic objectives.

Strategic Creative Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive creative strategies that align with client goals and brand identity.
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring that all creative output is strategically aligned with client objectives and market trends.

Digital and Multimedia Expertise:

  • Demonstrate expertise in digital platforms, social media trends, and multimedia content creation, including filming and video editing.
  • Leverage the latest technology and creative solutions to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all digital platforms.

Project and Client Management:

  • Manage and oversee multiple client projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and creative excellence.

Team Development and Leadership:

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the creative team, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Prioritize team development and performance, ensuring the team is highly motivated and producing their best work.

International Collaboration and Language Proficiency:

  • Serve as the primary creative liaison with our international teams, particularly in Peru, requiring fluent Spanish communication skills.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with international partners to ensure unified creative vision and execution.

Additional Duties:

Client Delivery

  • Support multiple client teams to deliver high-quality work, focused on client needs.
  • Create client-ready deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with strong project management.

Business Development and Company Growth

  • Assist with new project proposals
  • Assist with consultant and client relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English to effectively communicate and coordinate with international teams and clients.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, digital media, video production, and web design.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing and inspiring a creative team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of public affairs and campaign environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
